The reception staff were helpful with directions. I received a real plate and cutlery for eating in my room, which I appreciated greatly. The breakfast service included a written menu with many choices, made selecting my meal easy. The breakfast lady took orders, and my poached eggs arrived freshly cooked.
I found the hotel needs updates. The bathroom seemed quite old.

the staff were friendly enough, and the location was quite central.
the room was next door to a nightclub, i was not happy. the music was loud from 3 pm until 10 pm, it disrupted my ability to relax after a long day. a bedside light was broken and the wash basin cracked, a clear indication of needed updates.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially lucy at reception. She was very nice. dylan, the barman, was also really nice. He was friendly and chatty. the hotel is located close to the centre and the train station is also close!
I had a room facing the street. It was noisy, and i didn't sleep well before 4 am. the rooms aren't soundproofed. There was constant student traffic almost all night.
